NYC Accent Tour

Fred Armisen of Portlandia notoriety, specifically of the brilliant two-hipsters-go-out-to-a-restaurant skit (at the end of this post) recently did NYC accent improv at a charity event. Spectators called out different NYC neighborhoods and boroughs and Armisten did his best impression of the little subtleties between The Rockaways and The Bronx, East vs. West Village, Washington Heights, Lawngisalnd, etc. I don’t agree with all his impersonations, they are a bit narrow, but he does a good job overall. However, whoever this semi-anonymous “vigwig” user on Youtube is, she’s spot on!

Enjoy!

And just because I still lose it everytime
