It’s been a few months since I moved back from Brussels, and complain as I did about that little city, I do miss it. A lot. On a good note, I did find a Mexican restaurant in Alphabet City where they serve Duvels for 8 bucks! And my brother just started bartending at a Belgian bar where they serve Tripel Karmeleit on tap – so Pantin.
Here are some of my favorite shots around Belgium that I took last year:
Belgium does have awesome sunsets. Out my bedroom window.
Same day, but outside the kitchen window.
Spent way too much time here…
A view from that church on Place Flagey
Photo credits to Julia Drogen. My favorite stretch in Ixelles.
A very brightly colored building off the Chaussée d’Ixelles.
A soul (sole?) red-leafed tree at the Etangs d’Ixelles.
Halfway there – at VUB
Very wise Belgian cat. In Antwerp.
Colossal rain cloud over Ixelles.
Ivy on Lesbroussart
WW I memorial at Place Poelaert
Palais de la Justice. The construction is to the left, but outta sight, outta mind.
Sexy fake silhouette in Oostende.
